The Common Core State Standards are a set of high academic learning standards that will better prepare students for success in college, work, and life. The Common Core standards describe what students should know and be able to do at every grade level. These standards were developed using international benchmarks and adopted by 46 states. At every grade level, parents will have a clear idea of what their child is expected to know and how they are really doing in school. We invite you to review the grade level information on this page so that you will have a clear understanding of these new standards. The parent guides are also an excellent resource for you. When parents and teachers work together towards a common goal, we believe all of our students can achieve success.
