A special THANK YOU to Old Dominion Freight Line, the Petersen Family, and Tenino First Presbyterian Church for holding school supply drives to support Tenino students!

Your generosity ensured local students are going into the classroom with the backpacks, notebooks, and tools they need to succeed this school year.

Special shoutout to each of the teams who collected supplies, donated, and helped spread the word—your support makes a real difference! 💙

Your Tax Dollars at Work: Summer Projects Making a Difference.

As students and staff have settled back into classrooms, they returned to schools that are even better because of summer projects across the district. Over the summer, district crews and contractors were hard at work completing important facility improvements across our campus. From upgraded learning spaces and improved accessibility to critical infrastructure investments, these projects demonstrate our continued commitment to safety, accessibility, learning environments and long-term stewardship of taxpayer resources.

Improved Accessibility at the District Office

A new accessibility sidewalk has been installed in front of the District Office, creating a safer and more accessible path for students and community members.

New Tennis Courts

Students will enjoy upgraded tennis courts that provide a safer, modern playing surface and support athletic and recreational opportunities for years to come. The pickleball courts are an added bonus too.

New High School Art Room

Creativity now has a new home. The high school’s upgraded art room provides students with an improved learning environment for artistic expression. A new kiln is on its way and will be installed soon.

Modernized HVAC System

A completely new HVAC system has been installed at Parkside Elementary to create an improved learning environment for everyone. One of the most significant improvements is the addition of new access points located in hallway areas rather than inside classrooms. This allows future maintenance and servicing to occur with minimal disruption to student learning and classroom instruction.

Roof Improvements: THS & Stadium

Another section of roof at the high school was replaced as we continue to improve learning environments. Work was completed at the stadium, including the replacement of the underlayment above the seating and the roof itself. These upgrades help protect this community gathering space while extending the life of the facility for students, families and fans.

Every project completed this summer reflects our commitment to maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming facilities for students, staff and the community.

Promises Made. Promises Kept. Your tax dollars at work.

✨Retiree Spotlight -- Mr. Joel Morlin✨

Mr. Morlin has worked in the Tenino School District since 2016 and has had the opportunity to work in all 4 of our schools! This year he worked at Tenino High School as a Student Support Specialist. The connections he’s made and relationships he’s built have made his time here in Tenino meaningful and rewarding.

After retirement, Mr. Morlin is looking forward to spending more time with his family and friends, traveling, and enjoying a slower pace of life. He’s also looking forward to fulfilling his bucket list which includes visiting every professional baseball stadium – he has 12 more to go! ⚾️🧳🏟️

Thank you for your dedication to Tenino for many years! Wishing you all the best in your retirement!

CONGRATS are in order! 🏆🎮🕹️

From Mr. Harrington --
This weekend our Tenino High School Rocket League Team (Eric Bowe, Nathan Pye, Dawson Williams, and Weston Frank) competed in the "Bruin Invitational" at George Fox University against the some of the best High School Rocket League teams from the state of Oregon (including several "6A" size schools with student bodies of well over a thousand students). I am pleased to say that we rose to the occasion and came away as champions.

As always, we are thankful for the amazing support of our program, and for providing opportunities to highlight our students and allow them to succeed at the highest level.

Dear Tenino School District Families,

For us to continue to improve as a school district and as a school, it is important for us to understand stakeholder perceptions about the job we are doing in providing a quality education for all our children. We are seeking information through a 10-15 minute survey that is available now through Friday, April 3, 2026

To access the survey, visit:

https://ceeffectiveness.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0ilkh9P1QDyvc2y

- Choose your language preference on the opening page of the survey.
- Select your child’s school. If you have children in multiple schools, complete one survey per child.
- Complete the survey and click submit.
- We value your input as we strive to continue to improve. Thank you for your feedback.

Sincerely,

Clint Endicott

Congratulations to THS Junior, Shane Elrod who recently participated in the ESD 113 2026 Regional High School Art Show!

Shane was announced as one of the scholarship winners from Central Washington University for his metal and welding piece, Excalibur. 🧑‍🏭🏅👏

"I used proportion, texture, repetition, shape, form, balance, and emphases to make Excalibur in a log. I used damascus steel, 3/16 steel, and steel pipe with tig and mig welding. I've always liked the story of Excalibur since I was young, so it has personal meaning. My goals were to work on my dexterity and creativity. This piece challenged my welding and design skills." - Shane
