Tafoya blazed through her season for the Beavers before finishing things off with a third-place finish at State at 190 pounds. After that, she continued to make history, becoming the first girls wrestler from Tenino to sign on to compete in college when she committed to Eastern Oregon.

One of the most electric running backs in the state, the senior finished with 1,492 yards on just 145 carries (good for over 10 yards a run) and added 19 touchdowns in just nine games played.
