Thank you to these wonderful parents and their very well behaved children for all their help tonight. We were small in number but we were mighty! Thank you for your teamwork and time to keep this Parkside Tradition alive. The wonderful things that Parkside is known for doesn't happen without wonderful parent support! It was nice to see current and former Parkside families come together to make this event possible. THANK YOU! We are ready for tomorrow.

Once again, we would like to publicly thank our local TENINO LIONS for always supporting our community and children. The donation you made this week will be used to keep our Book Vending Machine stocked with books. Each Friday our kids that receive special awards come down and use a special coin to select a free book they get to keep. It's just one of the ways Parkside helps put books in our student's hands. THANK YOU!

Thursday Night Jan. 29th from 6:00-7:30pm in the Parkside Elementary MP Room our PTSA will be sorting books and getting everything ready for our Annual Book Exchange. If you can help please come. The picture attached is last year's helpers and it took us about 1 1/2 hours to get everything set up. Imagine what 20 people could do? Maybe 45 minutes. Remember many hands make light work. We hope to see you Thursday Night!

This morning we had a friend visit us. He was a friendly husky mix that was very excited. Thanks to the quick action by Parkside Staff and Students, the Tenino School District Maintenance Department and the City of Tenino the dog has been reunited with his grateful family.

Our Tenino High School Art Class coordinated a project with our Kindergarten Teachers. Our Parkside students drew a picture of a stuffie they wanted to have made and the THS Students created them by sewing them together using cloth. It was a wonderful project which put lots of smiles on the kids faces. Thank you THS!
