Congratulations to Mrs. Craig-Mickel. Caitlin received the VFW’s Teacher of the Year Award for her service to the Tenino community. Caitlin has been a member of our third grade teaching team for seven years. During this time she has been the team leader, facilitated professional development and served on a variety of school and district-wide committees. Caitlin has also been pivotal in creating our school’s Community Garden. Thank you, Mrs. Craig-Mickel for all your hard work and dedication to our students, staff and families!

Students exited the building quietly and calmly. The drill is part of out monthly safety drills.

Our positive behavior theme this month is Kindness. Teachers focus on this theme during morning meetings and throughout the day. Feel free to ask your child about the fun activities they are doing and the important lessons they are learning.
