COVID-19 Letter to Families
Dear Tenino families,
We wish to provide families with health tip reminders and information about the respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus known as COVID-19. By doing so our hope is to avoid unnecessary drama while remaining vigilant and communicative.
We understand that the spread of the virus to new regions around the world and the heightened media attention is concerning. We want to assure you that the Tenino School District is continuing to closely monitor this situation. The district is also communicating with state and local health officials, as well as the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and will continue to follow their professional guidance. 5th grade students present science experiments to the school board on Monday night at TES. Ms. Shepherd and her students shared information about our upcoming STEAM week, a celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Steam Week is Feb 24 through Feb 28. More information will be coming out soon!




Students participate in the Pinewood Derby.




Potential Exposure


Due to the high school students being released early today, all afternoon bus routes will be getting students home about 20 to 25 minutes early today, January 17th. Schools will be released at normal time.

Students have fun making snowmen on the playground at noon recess.
