✅Please ensure that your contact information is current and up-to-date in Skyward to ensure you are receiving notifications and communication.
✅Encourage students to dress appropriately for the chilly weather and be cautious for possible icy conditions during drop-off and pick-up.

At our November School Board Meeting a couple weeks ago, we recognized the Tenino VFW and thanked them for their continued partnership with our schools and community. We also had the opportunity to hear from the Tenino High School FFA students that organized and held the annual Veterans Day Brunch at THS. The brunch was a success and the students enjoyed hearing stories and talking with all who attended!
Tenino Cross-Country does it again! THS sent off SIX individual state qualifiers AND the boys team last Friday! This is the first time that a boys team has gone to state since 1993!

As a friendly reminder, in observance of Veterans Day there will be no school on Monday, November 11th. Thank you to all who served!

For the third year in a row, our October School Board Meeting was held at the Bucoda Town Hall. We got to recognize some amazing members of the "Boo-Crew" last night, Laura Wilson and Mike Finley and hear about exciting ideas they are working on for next year already.
You can still visit the Boo-Coda Spooktacular Haunted House starting tonight through Halloween. Thank you to Bucoda Mayor Callie Carpenter for having us out last night!

In our principal spotlight today is Mrs. Jen Van De Wege, our amazing principal at Tenino Elementary! While Mrs. Van De Wege is entering only her second year in Tenino, she has been in education for 28 years! We are so happy to have her positivity, energy and leadership in our community! Thanks for all you do!

On September 18, 2024 TES had their first Celebration Assembly where they recognized students who exemplified the character trait "RESPECT: Accepting others for who they are, even when they are different from you, or you do not agree with them." Special guest Cheeto the Tiger made an appearance to cheer on the students.
At the September 23, 2024 Board Meeting, Tenino High School student Leah Noll was sworn in as a Student Board Representative. Student representatives have an important role in advocating for Tenino students by participating in monthly board meetings. Welcome to the Board, Leah!
