The Tenino Boys and Girls Club will be opening a teen center this fall. The portable building and all of the related costs have been made possible by the Bruno and Evelyn Betti Foundation. The District is very grateful and excited about the opening of the Teen Center.

The District Office will be closed July 1-5. Beginning July 8, summer hours will be Monday-Thursday from 7:00am-4:00pm. We will be closed on Fridays. We will resume our normal schedule beginning the week of August 19.

Academic Collaboration Time (ACT) changes from late start to 6 early release days. Feedback indicates early release will be less disruptive to families & allow for a more productive school day. ACT allows teachers to engage in collaboration & professional development.

Update on Bus Accident--May 1, 2019. This afternoon a NON Tenino School District First Student bus was involved in an accident on Sussex. We do know no students were on the bus and are unsure which school district the bus was from.

Substitute Custodians Needed in the Tenino School District
The District Office will be closed during spring break April 1-5.
Snow Days Make Up
Because we cancelled two school days due to snow this year the last school day for students in the Tenino School District will be Monday June 17, 2019. This will be an early release half day.
We are required by the State to make up any school days we cancel less than three days. Only districts who missed three or more days are eligible for the State waiver.
Tenino schools are on regular schedule for Friday, February 15, 2019.
The Brothers Four Encore Performance Benefiting local youth will beheld on March 31, 2019 beginning 2:00 pm at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets can be purchased at 360-753-8586 or by email boxoffice@washingtoncenter.org.

This is an emergency weather message for all Tenino School District students, parents and staff. Due to the risk of icy roads in outlying areas, all Tenino schools will begin two hours late Thursday, February 14, 2019. There will be no morning pre-school or out of District Transportation. Breakfast will not be served. Staff should attempt to arrive as close to their normally contracted time as can safely be managed. Again, Tenino schools will begin two hours late tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 14th) with no morning preschool or out of District transportation. Thank you.
Due to weather, the Tenino Girls Basketball District 4 Playoff game for tonight has been postponed. The rescheduled date is Thursday 2/14, 5pm @ Kings Way Christian.
