TRANSPORTATION UPDATE FOR FRIDAY, 9/29
Route #17 will be split between Routes #5 and 16. Route #16 students will be running about 20 minutes late. Route #5 running 5 minutes late. Routes #2 and 13 are combined. Stops on McCorkle, Patsy, & Lorraine are running about 25 minutes late. We apologize for the inconvenience and late notice. Please call First Student with any questions.
Bus Route #14 will operate on a normal schedule for this afternoon, September 29th.
Our first School Board Meeting of the 23/24 school year was a success! The agenda was packed full of student recognition, new student board representatives, introductions of new staff and school updates! We recognized 8 Seniors who have volunteered for the last 3 years as Cispus Camp Counselors and got a recap from Ms. Schall. We also swore in 2 new student board representatives, juniors Ellie Chance and Brynn Williams. Lastly, Linda McKinnie from Tenino Timberland Regional Library gave a presentation on amazing services that are available for our community! Thank you to all who made this a great meeting and welcome to our new staff in the district!

Our elementary summer school students got to celebrate their hard work with a field trip to Point Defiance Zoo yesterday! Thank you to our teachers and paraeducators that dedicated part of their summer to these students!!
This past weekend was a busy weekend for Tenino FFA students!
Beef Fair - Great job to Nolan Watson who received Grand Champion FFA steer! JD Bergin received a blue ribbon. Both of them did a great job!
Sheep Show - Trinity Tafoya won Reserve Champion Senior Showman, Baylee Ahrens won Grand Champion Junior Showman, and Ynavi Rodriguez won Grand Champion Novice Showman. Baylee won overall Grand Champion showmanship. Rilee Jones and Trinity Tafoya won several Grand Champion ribbons for their breeding flock.
Pig Show - Trinity Tafoya did an amazing job with her market hog! She won Grand Champion heavy weigh class and reserve champion overall. Way to go Trinity!
